Starting from June 1, 2026, the Vietnam Immigration Department requires all international travelers arriving at Phu Quoc International Airport to complete an online Pre-Arrival Information Declaration before entering Vietnam.
This new procedure is designed to streamline the immigration process, reduce congestion at arrival checkpoints, and help travelers enjoy a faster and smoother entry experience.
When Should You Complete the Declaration?
Travelers may submit their information up to 3 days before their scheduled departure flight to Phu Quoc.
How to Complete the Online Declaration
- Visit the official portal: https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn or scan the QR code available at airline check-in counters.
- Select your preferred language and click “Create & Submit Pre-arrival Information”.
- Fill in your personal details and visa information.
- Important: Under “Visa Type / Purpose”, please select “Phu Quoc Visa Exemption”.
- Enter your travel information, including:
- Flight details
- Accommodation address in Vietnam
- Review all information carefully and click “Submit”.
Save Your QR Code
After successfully submitting the form, the system will generate a confirmation QR code.
Please take a screenshot or save this QR code on your mobile device. You will be required to present it to immigration officers upon arrival in Phu Quoc.

- A passport valid for at least 6 months
- Flight information
- Accommodation details in Vietnam
- A valid email address
