Mandatory Online Pre-Arrival Declaration for Travelers Arriving in Phu Quoc

Starting from June 1, 2026, the Vietnam Immigration Department requires all international travelers arriving at Phu Quoc International Airport to complete an online Pre-Arrival Information Declaration before entering Vietnam.

This new procedure is designed to streamline the immigration process, reduce congestion at arrival checkpoints, and help travelers enjoy a faster and smoother entry experience.

When Should You Complete the Declaration?

Travelers may submit their information up to 3 days before their scheduled departure flight to Phu Quoc.

How to Complete the Online Declaration

  1. Visit the official portal: https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn or scan the QR code available at airline check-in counters.
  2. Select your preferred language and click “Create & Submit Pre-arrival Information”.
  3. Fill in your personal details and visa information.
    • Important: Under “Visa Type / Purpose”, please select “Phu Quoc Visa Exemption”.
  4. Enter your travel information, including:
    • Flight details
    • Accommodation address in Vietnam
  5. Review all information carefully and click “Submit”.

Save Your QR Code

After successfully submitting the form, the system will generate a confirmation QR code.

Please take a screenshot or save this QR code on your mobile device. You will be required to present it to immigration officers upon arrival in Phu Quoc.

Information You Should Prepare Beforehand

To ensure a smooth submission process, please have the following ready:

  • A passport valid for at least 6 months
  • Flight information
  • Accommodation details in Vietnam
  • A valid email address
