Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival
Arrive at Ho Chi Minh City, warmly greeted, and transferred to your hotel in the city center. After check-in, you can spend the rest of the day relaxing or wandering around the bustling city and spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City.
If you wish, you can enjoy an XO tour to enjoy Saigon nightlife. With friendly and beautiful drivers in Ao dai – Vietnamese traditional costume, you will undoubtedly have the best traveling experiences ever. After this tour, the driver will transfer you back to the hotel overnight.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh – Dalat (B, L, D)
After check-out, our driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Dalat. Arriving in Dalat, our local guide will welcome you at the airport, then transfer you to the hotel in Dalat and do the check-in.
After relaxing, you will enjoy the Canyoning Tour, giving you wonderful impressions of Dalat with a lot of picturesque sceneries and majestic waterfalls or large green hills with a thousand colorful flowers blossoming. In the late afternoon, you will return to your hotel and enjoy overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Dalat – Lak Lake (B, L)
After eating breakfast at your hotel, we will continue your Dalat tour with a motorbike tour to discover the city. First, enjoy the special architecture of Hang Nga Guesthouse, described as a “fairy tale house”, also known as the “Crazy House”. With a building in giant tree-shape and twisting-designed forms, “Crazy House” gained recognition for its outstanding architecture and became one of the top-worth-visiting spots in Dalat.
Drop by a coffee farm for a while to enjoy Chon coffee, being renowned for its one-of-a-kind taste. Next, we move to an amazing silk weaving factory to see the full interesting process of how the cocoon becomes fabric. After that, prepare to be impressed by the mighty beauty of Elephant waterfall. After lunch, in the afternoon, we will stop by the silk cocoon village before heading to the floating fishing village to be deep into the beauty of nature and the fresh, clean air, which will surely help you to refresh your mind and free your spirit.
Finally, we will move to Lak Lake, one of the biggest natural freshwater lakes in Vietnam. Lak Lake attracts a huge number of tourists, both foreign and domestic travelers, visiting every year because of its dreamlike scenery and the untouched beauty of nature. Here, you have a chance to experience a unique trip – passing the lake by riding an elephant. The nighttime is all free. You can wander around to feel the peaceful, quiet atmosphere of charming Dalat, or simply relax and chill in your hotel room.
Day 4: Waterfalls – Buon Ma Thuot – Danang – Hoi An Ancient Town (D)
The first destination of the day is a brick factory, where you can get some new and interesting experiences, then we will head to Elephant Rock before crossing the Cashew plantation to get to Dray Nur and Dray Sup Waterfalls. Witness the amazing, impressive artworks of nature while listening to the powerful sound of water falling, the sound of the wild, ancient, and majestic forests and mountains.
Next, our driver will transfer you to Buon Ma Thuot airport for your flight to Danang. Our guide will pick you up at the airport, then the driver will drive you to Hoian. After check-in, the time is all yours. You can go out and enjoy a little nightlife atmosphere, or relax at the hotel.
Day 5: Hoi An Freetime
Today, you will spend the whole day exploring Hoi An by yourself to get the most truthful experiences.
It’s great if you can wake up early enough to witness the fantastic sunrise scenery on the beach. You can stroll in the town to try some famous Hoi An cuisines like banh mi or Quang noodles, or you can go around and visit some pagodas to see ancient, traditional Asian architecture. Make sure that you also stop by some vintage coffee shops and enjoy a cup of coffee. And do not miss the nightlife scenes with a thousand lanterns sparkling.
Day 6: Hoi An – Danang – Hanoi – Nghia Lo (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Danang airport for your flight to Hanoi. Picking you up at Noi Bai Airport, our driver will drive up to Nghia Lo – a peaceful and tranquil town, suitable for people wanting to escape from the bustling city. On the way driving, there will be a lot of scenic and beautiful spots. Here, we promise that you will have the most life experiences of living in the Vietnam countryside.
First, we will drop by a local family to see a special Bonsai garden before visiting another family with many kinds of special rise wine. Free your soul while visiting a tea farm before heading to a Thai village and hill tribe village. We can stop a little to see the special water system of people here. After a long day of discovering, you will spend an overnight at the hotel in Nghia Lo.
Day 7: Nghia Lo – Mu Cang Chai – Lao Cai (B, L, D)
Today, you will enjoy more magnificent scenes of stunning rice terraces. If you want, you can experience local farming to have the best experiences of local life. On the way driving uphill to Lao Cai, you will have the greatest view with numerous rice terraces and mighty mountains with majestic silver waterfall, also have the chance to enjoy more trekking in the tribe villages.
From Lao Cai, you will go back to Hanoi by train. This night, we will travel on an overnight train, sharing a cabin that has 4 soft sleeping berths, air-conditioning, and shared a restroom. The train will run about 60km per hour.
Day 8: Hanoi Leisure Time.
Continue your Vietnam Tour with wonderful experiences in Hanoi. The train will arrive in the early morning. Our driver will pick you up, then transfer you to a peaceful spot in Hanoi, West Lake, so that you can watch the morning activities of Hanoi people and enjoy the fresh atmosphere of early morning. After that, our driver will take you to the hotel for check-in and breakfast.
Today, you will have time to explore Hanoi on your own. There are a lot of things to do in Hanoi – the capital city of Vietnam. A lot of foreigners come here and are bewitched by the charms of Hanoi. You should go to Hanoi Old Quarter to enjoy some famous cuisines such as Pho, bun cha, and banh mi. Egg coffee and coconut coffee should also be put on your must-try list.
There are a lot of places to visit in Hanoi, such as the Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh Complex, Tran Quoc Pagoda, West Lake, and Sword Lake. If you want, you can hop on a “cyclo” (cycle rickshaw). The driver will take you around to see the bustling streets, watch the daily activities of Hanoi people and witness gorgeous scenes of Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L)
After check-out, you will be transferred to Hon Gai International Habor by a shuttle bus. Embark on Huong Hai Junk, and enjoy our welcome drink while listening to the Cruise Manager giving a brief overview of the itinerary and some important safety guidelines. Then, check-in your cabin. We will cruise to alluring Bai Tu Long Bay while you are having lunch. Sail among some renowned islets (Indochina studio, Am islets, etc ) to witness the wild, untouched and charming beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay.
Next, explore the well-hidden Co Cave (known as Thien Canh Son Cave). Here, you can hike to the middle of the mountain to see the mysterious cave, and contemplate a lot of stalactites appearing like “hanging lamps” inside the cave. Then enjoy kayaking or swimming at Cong Do or simply relax on the cruise. Before dinner, you can attend our chef’s fruit carving demonstration. After dinner is the time for night activities, such as Squid Fishing, Board Games, Massage and Spa, or just relaxing at your cabin.
Day 10: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
You should wake up early to as not to miss the bewitching dawn on Bai Tu Long Bay. This is the greatest time to refresh your body with a Taichi session on the deck. Enjoy your breakfast with cookies and tea or coffee in the restaurant.
Today, we will stop by Vung Vieng village, a famous fishing farm by bamboo boat, and discover the life of locals living on the surface of Halong Bay. After that, pack up your luggage and do the check-out. Enjoy the brunch in the restaurant while cruising back to Vinashin tourists harbor, where your driver will pick you up and transfer you back to Hanoi for your homeward flight. Trip ends.
